EUCHARISTIC EXPLOSION
Mr. Johnson, approved as a speaker by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, invites participants, through this Speaking Series, to explore the “mega mystery” (cf. Eph. 5:32)—the profound and sacred union of Christ and His Church, revealed through the gift of marriage. Designed as a three-part journey, the series can also be adapted into one or two sessions to fit the needs of your parish or group. Through engaging presentations, reflection, and dialogue, participants will be guided to see how the divine love of the Eucharist illuminates the human vocation to love. Talk 1: "Eucharist Transfigured"
Unveiling the "[mega] mystery" (cf Ephesians 5: 31-32) of the Eucharist as the passionately loving, life-giving, one-flesh union of Christ with his Bride. Discover how the transfigured Eucharist illuminates our understanding of the New Evangelization and the New Pentecost - especially as Mr. Johnson utilizes Disney's "Moana" as the parable to illustrate the life-giving power of the Church's Union with the Word-Spoken-and-Made Flesh!
Talk 2: "Marriage & Family Life Transfigured"
Explore how the passionate love Jesus wants to share with His bride in the Eucharist "transfigures" marriage, communication, and family life, brightly revealing the truth that sets couples and families free to love authentically for life.
Talk 3: "Suffering Transfigured"
Ever feel helpless in relieving loved ones who suffer? Discover how God's mercy can transfigure your suffering, allowing you to participate - through the Eucharist - in the healing and redemptive power of Jesus' sufferings (cf Corinthians 4: 10). See how this fellowship of His sufferings, central to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, also fosters loving, spousal intimacy with Jesus in the midst of our suffering.
